Thomas Street Resident Reports Attempted Intrusion

   A teenage resident of Lawrenceburg’s Thomas Street summoned law enforcement agents to her home early Monday morning after someone attempted to enter her home.

   The 15-year-old girl told Lawrenceburg Police Officers that she had been watching television while the rest of her family was sleeping when the incident occurred.

   The teen stated that someone first attempted to open the front door. The subject then moved to a front window and removed a screen.  She indicated that the subject then began to call out her name. She told officers that she had been too frightened to open the door.

   Entry was not made to the home. At the current time the incident remains under investigation through the department’s Criminal Investigation Division.
